Join experts from the Investment world at our annual “Trends in Financing Panel & Holiday Party” to understand the types of financings that are occurring in your industry today – including topics such as who is getting funding, current valuations and other terms, what investors are looking for, what criteria they use to evaluate and eventually fund your company, etc. – and what is new and what to expect for 2009 while the world faces complex financial challenges.
Confirmed Panelists include:
- Samuel D. Colella, Co-Founder and Managing Director, Versant Ventures: a highly respected venture capitalist recognized for his leadership in life sciences investing, and credited with an extensive list of successful public life science companies.
- Ellen Koskinas, Partner, InterWest Partners LLC: a successful Venture Capitalist with outstanding board member experience, and who led - prior to InterWest - Guidant's acquisition of CardioThoracic Systems.
- Ted Driscoll, Venture Partner, Claremont Creek Ventures: a well-known venture capitalist, but also an angel with Sand Hills Angels, a scientist with 40+ granted patents, and a true entrepreneur who helped found five successful companies in imaging-related markets.
- Lead Facilitator: Scott M. The discussion will cover recent developments in the case law concerning e-discovery issues and suggestions for implementing a document management system that effectively complies with the current state of the law for document retention policies, while retaining a scope that is manageable and has the minimum impact on the day-to-day operations of the company.
