SPEAKER BIO

Barbara drives Zoomedia�s leadership in life science communications, developing innovative marketing, branding, and communications programs that combine traditional and new media expertise. During her thirteen-year tenure at Zoomedia, she has built the Zoomedia brand and client-base and has become a recognized biotech communications expert working with clients such as Gilead, Novo Nordisk, Celgene, OSI Pharmaceuticals, and non-profit organizations including the Parkinsons's Disease Foundation, FasterCures, the Multiple Myeloma Resarch Foundation, the Helmsley Trust and the Epilepsy Therapy Project.

Prior to joining Zoomedia in 1997 as a production manager, Barbara had a successful career as a stage production designer, including a five-year stint at the Abbey Theater in Dublin, and an event producer. She graduated with honors from Central St. Martins College of Art in London.
