San Jose BioCenter CORE Lab Policies
We are a non-GMP/GLP facility.
Common solvents provided at no additional cost to user. All other solvents may be purchased through the Thermo Fisher catalog or provided by the user. Uncommon solvents must be approved by BioCenter Staff prior to use.
All levels of service require a BioCenter Account.
Samples can be returned if requested (shipping charge applies at client cost).
All sample submissions must be secured by a credit card.
NMR data available as a printout or as a datafile. To receive and use the datafile, you must have NMR data viewing software ACD, NUTS, MestReNova
For typical samples, Full Service analysis includes:
Preparation of the sample using SJBC vials, NMR tubes, solvents as appropriate.
Data acquisition, processing and plotting of the experimental results per user requirements.
Creation of a .pdf document containing spectral plots, sent via email
Return or disposal of the sample, per customer specification. Samples will be disposed of after 30 days.
San Jose BioCenter business hours are Monday � Friday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Business Hour Blocks are run in 4 consecutive hours.
Rates are charged by the hour and not a portion thereof.
